The Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) is a partnership between the Federal Aviation Administration and 35 colleges and universities around the country. The aim of the program is to provide qualified applicants to fill developmental air traffic control specialist positions. The schools offer non-engineering aviation degrees that teach basic courses in air traffic control. Graduates of the AT-CTI program are eligible to bypass the Air Traffic Basics Course, which is the first five weeks of qualification training at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City. Students must successfully complete all required training at the FAA Academy to continue employment with FAA. Following are the 17 two-year colleges that are part of the AT-CTI program:
