The BestSchools.org Ranks Top Community Colleges

The BestSchools.org Ranks
Top Community Colleges

With their widely varying missions, enrollments and demographic characteristics, community colleges defy efforts to rank them. Colleges in urban areas bear little resemblance to those in rural settings, making most ranking efforts futile.

But that has not stopped a variety of organizations from rating community colleges anyway. TheBestSchools.org, a resource for campus and online education, issues a wide variety of higher education lists.

The Website says, their community college list is based on graduation and persistence rates, learning outcomes, employment rates, equity and diversity and cost-to-value ratios. As part of Community College Week’s 25th anniversary observance, we are printing their list of the country’s best community colleges.
