Fastest-Growing Community Colleges, 2015 Issue Delayed

Adjusting to Enrollment Trends

This is normally the time of year when Community College Week would be preparing one of our most popular issues: the Fastest-Growing Community College edition, which provides an annual snapshot of which colleges are experiencing growing enrollments and which aren’t.

The edition was scheduled to be published Dec. 7. But it is being delayed because of circumstances beyond our control.

To produce our report, we rely an analysis of enrollment data provided by the Integrated Postsecondary Educational Data System.

The IPEDS data file was to have been released on Nov. 16. But the release was delayed to Dec. 3 after problems with the  data turned up.

The delay has forced CCWeek to adjust its editorial calendar. We now plan to publish the Fastest-Growing edition on Dec. 21. The Year in Review edition slated for that date will be moved to Jan. 11, 2016.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to strive to provide you with the coverage you have come to expect from Community College Week.
