The Provost, Advanced Technology and Education Park (ATEP), is the chief academic and administrative officer of a new educational unit of the SOCCCD. ATEP conducts its educational programs and services as an extension of the two District colleges until separate accreditation and independent status is achieved. The Provost receives direction from the Chancellor; represents the ATEP on the Chancellor’s Cabinet and in other governance bodies, and on local, state and national groups; exercises direct supervision and provides leadership to assigned faculty, management, technical and clerical staff.

Nicolet Area Technical College, a comprehensive community college located in northern Wisconsin, is inviting applications or nominations for the position of President. Nicolet offers more than 30 occupational and technical programs, a university transfer/liberal arts program, basic education instruction, training for business and industry, and continuing education opportunities for professional development and personal enrichment. The college awards associate of arts, associate of science, and associate of applied science degrees, as well as certificates and diplomas. Nicolet also provides opportunities for baccalaureate degree completion through partnerships. Nicolet is part of the world-class Wisconsin Technical College System and serves over 3,200 credit students and nearly 10,000 non-credit students annually. Nicolet is a regional leader in economic development, and area cultural activities. The college has numerous partnerships with the universities in the University of Wisconsin-System, with private Wisconsin colleges and universities, with local K-12 schools, with economic development entities, and with the three area tribal communities. The college has an annual budget of over 29 million dollars. Nicolet had its most recent Higher Learning Commission continuing accreditation review in 2005. The college’s accreditation was continued to 2015, with no Higher Learning Commission follow-up required or requested.

Edison State College, located along Florida’s southern Gulf Coast, is accepting applications for the Dean of Student Services. Edison State is part of the state’s system of public community colleges and is designated as one of the nine schools included in the State College pilot program.
