They will go on to compete for the national title in Kansas City, Mo. in July. This is the third win for GTCC. This year’s team included: Aisha Boston, Jessica Bower, Alexia D’Egidio, Kirsten Darnley and Michael Nasrallah. Patrick Sanecki, assistant professor of culinary arts at GTCC, and Michele Prairie, culinary instructor at GTCC, coached.

County Community College (Pa.) cut a symbolic green ribbon on April 21 to dedicate four brand new wind turbines at its West Campus in Pottstown. The 25-foot vertical axis wind turbines were recently installed outside MCCC’s Schuylkill Riverfront Academic and Heritage Center, adjacent to Riverfront Park and the Schuylkill River.

Greg Bock, associate director of safety programs at Lewis and Clark Community College (Ill.), has been invited to be a trainer at the 2014 Community College Consortium for Health and Safety Training Train-the-Trainer Course.
